My brother finished High School this year and he applied to the same school as me for Engineering, however he's only been accepted into the Faculty of Science and not Engineering because he didn't take Calculus in high school. He has been accepted at another school for Engineering so his options are A) taking first year at the other school and transferring or B) take as many Engineering equivalent courses as possible while in Science and then transfer to Engineering for his second year.

He emailed the school with some questions but he's really anxious at the moment so I'm gonna post on here.

Has anyone transferred from Science into Engineering that could shed some light on this? Basically he wants to be up to par with the other Engineering students entering his second year.
