Our 2013-2014 season is under way! Come visit our Department of Theatre and Dance with a night in the theatre! Our next main stage production will be Frankenstein, an original, unique piece of theatre composed and devised by the head of our acting option Drew Vidal and musically devised by the head of our musical theatre option Michael Elliott. The cast and crew are working together to create an incredible piece of art that I hope any and all can see! Take a trip to our campus and experience Frankenstein!

In addition to Frankenstein, the next show in our Cave series opens this month! Student directed, produced, and performed Third and Oak: The Laundromat opens October 15th!

Question: If we were to come on a weekend to see a show (we’re thinking of 42nd Street), would we be able to tour/talk to someone in the MT dept?

Thx.

We would love for you to come see our work! If you would like to schedule a visit, you can coordinate that with the Welcome Center at BSU. Through them, you can schedule a meeting with our recruitment coordinator who will tell you everything you need to know about the Theatre and Dance Department as well as the MT program. When you come to the Department of Theatre and Dance, most likely, a current student will be able to speak with you and give you a tour of our specific facility! I would highly recommend going through the Welcome Center for the official tour and meeting, because you really get a feel for what BSU is like. Then, you could come see the show in the evening and make a day of it!
Here’s a link to set up a visit: https://bsu-uga.edu.185r.net/Event/</a>
Hope this helps! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me!
