BU Presidential Scholarship

"Boston University values academic excellence and hard work. Each year, the Board of Admissions awards the Presidential Scholarship to approximately five percent of our incoming freshmen who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement. In addition to being among our most academically talented students, Presidential Scholars demonstrate excellence beyond the classroom and are leaders in their schools and communities. This $20,000 tuition scholarship is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study at BU.

No additional essays or application forms are required. However, the award process is very competitive, and students must submit their application for admission by December 1."

I submit my common app on November 30th and sent my SAT and ACT scores at that time, everything was in on December 1 except for the SAT and ACT scores. If my test scores aren't delivered by December 1 does that mean I'm not elligible for the scholarship?

I would suggest that for any other deadlones you do NOT wait until the very last minute to submit your required submissions.

Call BU and ask. If it’s the submission date, then you are fine. If it’s a receipt date, then you are not. Ask them.
