Congrats and welcome!

yes, bucknell does not have a bucknell pre-med program but its ok. i'm a bio/psych major that is pre-med and im very happy with the curriculum. if you are a bs (bachelor of science) bio major you will fulfill ALL the med school requirements and that is the important thing. we also have a pre-med advisor and theres a pre-med club on campus. we also have meetings and things so you can find out about the application process and MCATs. so def. do not worry about it. your advisor will talk to you about it if u ask next year, esp. if you are a bio major. i hope this helps.

I'm also in Bucknell's premed program, but i'm majoring in biology. I just finished my freshman year. It's really tough, but overall I enjoyed it. It sucked having to stay in and study sometimes while my friends were out partying, but I think it's worth it. The professors are great and very willing to help you outside of class.

How generous is Bucknell in giving aid to international students? And also, how good and well-renowned is the engineering program there?

I can’t answer the first question, but Bucknell’s engineering school is one of the finest. Since we’re mentioning rankings, I’ll say that it is currently #7 on U.S. News’ list of engineering schools that don’t offer a Ph.D. Under the same principles, the ChemE program is #4 and CivilE is #3.
