Bucknell vs Tulane

How does Bucknell and Tulane compare in terms of reputation for finance? I heard that both have a similar strong reputation but I am wondering what other people think.

Both are outstanding. Both offer top-notch academics and great alumni/career networks. A student could do great studying at either. Question: They are in very different locations. Tulane is obviously in New Orleans; Bucknell is in Lewisburg, a very, very small town, not close to very much. I love the Bucknell campus. I’d think one location would appeal to some, the other to others. One could be interested in both. Just asking, does one environment appeal more than the other? Also, a finance student could go to Bucknell and end up with a great job in the South. Or a finance student could go to Tulane and end up on Wall Street. However, alum networks would probably be stronger in different parts of the country. Would that matter to you? I tend to think of the University of Miami (Florida) when I think of Tulane. And tend to think of Wake Forest or the University of Richmond when I think of Bucknell. One or both of those lists might be good for you to explore too. All great for business. Good luck!

Also, maybe SMU as another urban southern mid-size university with an excellent business school.
