How long does it take from tuacaloosa to atl airport? It takea 3hrs by car but doea the greyhound have multiple atops?

@paul2752 You should allocate at least 6 hours by bus to get to the Atlanta airport from Tuscaloosa. You don’t want to miss your flight or get any baggage checked. Southwest allows 2 free bags to be checked in. On the same side you might want to get there the day before your flight. There is no guarantee that you will not face an unexpected accident or traffic jam getting to Atlanta from Tuscaloosa. For instance I was stuck in traffic for several hours on US20 trying to get to Tuscaloosa from Birmingham because of a fatality accident.

Paul, unless the flights from Atlanta to Portland are free, you’re not going to save yourself any money at all if you have to spend the night at an Atlanta airport hotel. As someone already suggested, get on the internet[/url”>http://matrix.itasoftware.com/]internet and check flight costs from BHM to both Portland and Seattle, find the easiest, cheapest flight you can, and just GO! No reason to make this any more difficult than it already is.

Good news:

while I couldn’t find a bus from here to Atlanta,…

my friend told me he would gimme a ride for FREE.

@dodgersmom‌ I wasn’t planning to stay in hotel…in fact I was thinking about staying up during night at the airport(I did it once and it was unbearably inconvenient) but thanks for the advice. I never meant to make it more difficult for anyone…sorry

No, Paul, you’re not making it difficult for us . . . just for yourself. Make sure the money you’re saving is worth spending the night in the Atlanta airport. And use the website I linked to in my post above to check the fares from BHM to all airports within driving distance of your home. There may be a way to do this without having to drive to Atlanta. I certainly wouldn’t want my kid spending the night at the airport if there were a way to avoid it. Keep things as SIMPLE as possible. :)
