I was thinking of majoring in business with a concentration in accounting, and also taking the required classes for pre-med/dental. Would the course-load be extremely difficult with the number of courses I need for business? I’ve asked the assistant dean at SMG when I was there over the summer; he said a few students have been able to do it. Opinions?

I have two friends who JUST decided to go this route after their sophomore year in SMG. After talking with the UPO, it’s very easy to concentrate in one/even two diff concentrations and take the required premed courses (8-10 courses, I believe? orgo, chem, phys and bio) within the 4 years if you (1) came in with AP credit (2) willing to take classes over the summer (3) overload a few semester (4) combo of any of the above.

But yes, it’s a tough courseload, but still very manageable. Hopefully you don’t overload the semester you have CORE though, that’s gonna be hell lol…

haha, thanks. I guess there’s lots of studying in my future, then. As long as it’s humanly possible, I’m relieved.
