Business degree vs Harvard

It was a joke.

If you want to play Ivy level football then look at Wharton at UPenn or maybe Cornell (Dyson School of Business).
For D-1 football also look at Notre Dame (Mendoza School of Business), University of Virginia. If you pursue UMichigan, be sure you are given a direct admit into the business school (there are some direct admits but many have to apply after their freshman year and it is competitive so if you want business I’d make sure to get admitted into Ross upfront).

“It was a joke.”

I know. What else could it be?

Tbh, being a GM is more about who you know than how good you really are. I’d go to UofM and get the sports management degree, if I were you. I am a diehard Michigan State fan, so that should tell you something if I am suggesting you go there, lol.

Which schools are actually recruiting you to play football? Those schools will likely be your only options. I wouldn’t waste too much time contemplating the others.

If you do have natural strength and speed (4.7-4.8 second 40 yd dash, 30" vertical leap, 15 reps or more bench-pressing 225 lbs etc…) you might consider transferring now to a ranked high-school in Texas, Florida, California or Georgia. If you can play exceptionally well there, it may get you the exposure needed to be recruited by the DI programs you are interested in.

Good Luck with your search!!

…And if you come over for high school, don’t forget to buckle your chin strap! As you probably know, it’s brutal
