Business degree vs IT degree (please help)

Hello everyone, I am a high school senior and planning on getting an undergraduate degree. I am currently enrolled in an the IB (international baccalaureate) program and have physics, math at higher level and economics at Standard level. I am not a top student (certainly above average though) and I have descent SAT score so I have gotten into Purdue university for computer and information technology (its in the school of technology not to be confused with engineering) and also into University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMASS) as an honors student in the school of management.
I could not really find the ranking of the college of technology of Purdue on net but its undergrad engineering is ranked 8th in the country so its tech department would be good enough. Talking about UMass, it is ranked 36th by business week for its undergrad business program. Cost isn’t a factor because both the schools will cost me the same (considering the aid).
I had business subject in 10th grade and I really aced it but I had to drop it in my junior year because I opted for physics and math. So I am confident enough that I will be able to major in it. Furthermore, I have not taken any IT related subjects since I started high school so I will be fresh to this field if I join as an IT major.
Okay so this information was about me^^ now comes the second part which is what I want to do with my life.
I plan on getting an MBA from a top grad school for instance lets say NYU, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Harvard and then settling down with a high paid job.
I did some research about top grad schools and got to know that work experience is one major factor for an MBA degree, so which career path of the two would help me get a job?
So as to accomplish my destiny, what would be a better career path for me? Please also try to consider my personal information before suggesting me your views. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks
