Hi CCers! I've done a ton of research on both business and engineering, but it's all so confusing and I just really want some of your opinions.
Here's my story:
-I love and am pretty good at math.
-In terms of science, I'm iffy. I don't like biology or chemistry because I don't really care about cells and such. I liked physics class but it was a basic course so I'm not sure how much I'd like it going in depth. The reason I think I'd like engineering is because I like building stuff and design thinking. Like I think it'd be really cool to design iphones and I've always been curious on how they work. Computer science also seems interesting, but I don't know much about that either. From the research I've done, Bioengineering and Mechanical Engineering sound interesting.
-I love business and even created my own company in fourth grade. I love numbers and all that jazz.
-I'm REALLY interested in food science and nutrition, but I heard that that is a lot of biological sciencey stuff. I feel like I might be happy with it though if I am doing it in terms of food/nutrition, rather than plant dissections in freshman bio.
-I'm also super involved in social justice and I want to help the world in some way (i know, it's vague.)
-I'm also interested in the environment and sustainability.
SO WHAT SHOULD I DO?!
The reason I'm asking is because most of the schools I am applying to require that you declare your engineering major on the application if that's where you're heading, and it's pretty hard to transfer into the engineering school once you're there. So, as you can see, I'm very conflicted. Help me!
