Haha zante, I see you've made the switch to Macs no sweat.

I have! I don't know why I didn't switch sooner, my mac is sublime.

One more thing-- does this bit of magic by the name of Mac have a photo-stitching software/capability in its photo editing application? Otherwise I'll need that to put together panoramic shots too...

I thought you were getting photoshop?
I'm pretty clueless about that, but shouldn't that be included in photoshop?

I am sooo sad and regretful that I didn't get a Mac. Mainly because it's so pretty. I could change my XP aesthetics to match the Mac OSX setup actually but it would mean loading a bunch of crap onto my harddrive and would probably bog things down. Macs are indeed pretty though.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAH
serves you right for telling me macs suck and trying to convince me not to get one. Hmph!

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAH too bad my computer is still superior to yours

No it's not. You're the one jealous of my computer, while I've never been jealous your lump of black PC. Pfffffttttt

I'm jealous of its aesthetics, that's all.

The people that whine about Windows/PCs are usually those who can't use the products correctly. Mac is a little more user-friendly in this regard, but alas..

Yea? What about the 80GB harddrive that you don't have?

That has nothing to do with a PC limitation, that was because I clicked the wrong radio button when I bought the laptop and ended up with a 40 GB. Mac software and hardware is so limited when compared to the stuff available for PC. More pricey too.

Yea have fun with your viruses. Btw, you were the one that started envying my mac and comparing them. I don't care

Oh and I just checked; it wasn't because you clicked the wrong button. It wasn't a feature to increase harddrive.

Hard drive [1]
ThinkPad 40GB 5400rpm Hard Disk Drive (Standard)

No options

It all depends. Google "thinkpad harddrive."

Besides what good is an 80 GB drive if you're going to blow half of it on Sex and the City?

Macs suck.

I'm not blowing it on SATC, that's on my crappy PC desktop.

Plus, you're using your memory for DDR, so I wouldn't be talking

Like 1 gig at the most

leigh your question way up there: i dont know that iPhoto will photomerge, but photoshop does have a photomerge feature, and its really good, but you have to take pictures carefully and with a tripod to expect decent results, it can only do so far, expecially at short ranges.

Legend: i can understand your misconception, but i used a PC up until 3 years ago and had no problem, but then my computer started having registry problems that couldnt seem to be fixed no matter how many wipes and reinstalls we did. We got a Mac and never had a problem again. OSX is an extremely powerful and well designed OS. Aesthetics are nice, but having a computer that just works is nice as well.

yllwjep: Sure, I wasn't saying otherwise. Macs are more friendlier to the general user, but if you know how to work a PC, I would say it's more powerful than a Mac. "But then my computer started having registry problems" is a result of operator error.

Powerful is an ambiguous term: elaborate. And no it was not user error the files got corrupted.
