Okay so I got off the waitlist at Cal Poly Pomona however I currently have a D in math (pre-calculus) which is not a required course I have my 3 years of math done plus I received a 30 on the math section of the ACT. On the provisional acceptance it says I need to have a 3.0 which I do. So my question is will the D in math affect my acceptance?

The D could affect your provisional admission and only CPP can tell you if it is acceptable so you need to contact admissions right away for answer.
In general, you need to pass all a-g courses with a C- or higher even if it is not a required course or even if you have met the minimum requirements.
