I’ve already been accepted. That’s craziness, I found out because I was trying to change my major, and the lady told me I couldn’t because I was already admitted . That’s craziness cause I applied last month. I’m just surprised cause I thought I would have found out next year or so.

has anyone else been accepted to any of the cal states, i wish it was cal poly slo i was accepted to.

ps how hard is it to get into cal poly pomona when their admissions rate is 30 percent and i got in?

did u apply ea?

i think the average SAT score at CP Pomona is a little over 1000, and the average GPA of admitted students is only 3.33. but then they say they only admitt 30% of the applicants. i dont get it, do the rejected people have an EXTREMELY low GPA and SAT?

yeah i'm completeley shocked, now that i see the averages i know why i was admitted. i'm way higher. i'm thinking the only reason it's acceptance rate is like 30 percent is because there must be a lot a lot of applicants to their architecture program that the majority of applicants makes that acceptance rate 30 percent. I applied with graphic design. The point is that i didn't kn ow cal states accepted you within a month.

Another thing is how cal poly slo admissions rate is 35 with sat score average of like 1290 or something like that and pomona still accepts less and they have a sat scores of 1000. There crazy. How good is their architecture?

cal poly slo has a better archateture program then pamona

Cal Poly Pomona's acceptance rate is roughly 67%... the 30% you got is probably the percentage of admitted students who chose to register. In 2003, of 11,003 students who applied to Pomona, 7,389 were accepted.

Cal Poly SLO, on the other hand, has a 47% acceptance rate. The average gpa for admitted applicants is around 3.98, while the average SAT I is in the mid-1200s.

SLO has a 38% acceptance rate(souce:website). not sure about pomona's.

Edit: The 47% acceptance rate was in 2003 for SLO. Also, Cal Poly Pomona is relatively easy to get into. My buddy with a 1010 SAT composite was admitted as a comp. sci. major.
