Cal Poly SLO Class of 2016!

COparent and Question0: Thank you for your responses. At our high school, only Physics B is offered (which does not fulfill ARCE physics req). AP stats does not fulfill upper div stats ARCE req. SO, even though it feels weird not to take the tests (even though my son has done well) on them, just want clarification that there is no academic reason to do so? Our kids in high school this year together would be taking total of 7APs–$623–yikes! And we have older son in college as well, so $ is precious around here.
Thanks for your help so much!

Hello kschall,
There isn’t an academic reason to do so if your son is going into engineering. I guess the only benefit of taking the AP stats exam is to see how well your son is performing in the class and if the teacher is a good reflector of the test. Not taking the AP exam will not affect the admission process either.

Have you looked at the course curriculum yet:
