My daughter’s alternative major Nutrition, does that mean if she does not get in to her first choice she won’t be offered her alternate?

SLO may consider her alternate major as a Freshman admit but not guaranteed. The information posted is if a student is admitted to another major and they want to switch to Nutrition after enrolling.
