Cal Poly Summer School?

I have applied to Cal Poly for fall 2008, but I was wondering what advantages there are to summer school. I’ve heard that it helps you get a spot during the year, but I don’t see how that can be true, since admission decisions would already have been sent out by the summer…

But I just wanted to know if I should apply for summer school. I have a very slim chance of being accepted into Cal Poly for the fall so I was just wondering what your opinions were.

bumpppppppppppp

summer school for cal poly does not help you get a spot for the regular school year. probably should just cross your fingers that you get in regular admission

I have heard that it is easier to get into. Also you apply after you find out if you got in on regular admission, so you can use your second semester grades, and choose a new (easier to get into) major.

Yeah... I found summer to be much easier to get into...

I didn't get in for arch for the fall, but did get in for the summer under computer science. i got to dorm, and it only took five weeks from my summer, so it wasn't that bad. (you could have it be ten or eight if you want)

Everyone I talked to seemed to have below average stats so i would say it was easier...

Its cool too, because the summer lets you take classes that are MUCH easier than when they are taught in the fall... and getting a spot in a class is really easy.
