I applied early October and got my acceptance early November. I think I got notified so early on because I live in Orange County.

I applied nov 25 & just checked the student portal today after not checking for a few weeks & it says I’ve been “admitted with distinction” to CalState fullerton! (:

BA in Theater Arts: uw gpa 3.8, sat 1820

Someone I know just told me they have been accepted for Fall 2012. They applied RD. Stats are approx. 3.6 1600/2400

What are the chances of me getting in with a GPA of 2.89 and a SAT of 900/1600 as an English Major for teaching?

I got accepted in November! Right now this is my top choice unless I get into USC and get a good financial aid package.

I was accepted for a Biochemistry major, GPA: 3.93, SAT: 1590

Accepted to Computer Engineer although I don’t plant to attend.

GPA: 3.5

SAT: 1940

APs: 8 (Human Geography: 4; World History: 2 (10th grade = Clinical Depression); and Government, European History, Environmental Science, Calculus AB, Physic B, and Computer Science A my senior year).

Why Fullerton?

Cant tell if that is an actual question or you are just being rude but here is my reason if you are just innocently asking. It is my safety non-audition school for a musical theater major since you don’t audition until into your freshman & sophomore year. They have a fantastic BFA musical theater program & it’s a non-audition school as an entering freshman so it’s the perfect safety for me (for now =P). That is why I chose Fullerton

I’m still waiting for my acceptance to Fullerton…when is the latest date for them to accept upcoming freshman?

hahah finally find out how to check the admission status (: i got innn. 3.5gpa uw and 1620 sat LAWL. communications major

wait you got into Uop right?? forget about fullerton then! bahaha

So, Im an out of area student located in Torrance and I applied for fall 2013! I applied with 3.27 GPA but got a C in Geo class and it went down to a 3.25, my question is…do you guys think I have a chance of getting in?

Major: business management
GPA: 3.25
Out of area, Torrance, CA
They asked for my transcripts like 3 weeks ago, and I applied on the last day!

Please let me know, I feel like I’m going crazy hoping for something’s that’s not going happen :(

Can someone chance me? I applied in Oct. 25 for fall 2012
Major: pre-nursing
GPA: 3.95 (csu gpa)
ACT: 28
i already got in long beach, san diego state, and UCR

If you got into LB, you’ll get into Fullerton!

@californiagal I’m in the Long Beach service area and I’m still waiting to get it. My major (psychology) is impacted, so I wont know until May. BUT, I got into Fullerton’s psych program… So I am hoping that because I was one of the few that got in from out of Fullerton’s service area, that I surely will be accepted to Long Beach.

@fullerton, They look at the GPA you applied with. I applied with a 3.75 and was accepted with “great distinction.” My GPA when I get there will probably be 3.4 or 3.5. Unfortunately, I’ve heard that you need a 3.7 for impacted programs to get in. I believe that business is highly impacted. So, I’m not sure that you’ll get in. Don’t give up. Sometimes students with lower stats then others are accepted and others with high stats are rejected. I was told I wouldn’t get in and I did.

@Annabel

Thanks for replying!
I’ve contacted Fullerton so many times, it sucks cuz if I was in area I would get in:/
But yaa…the GPA requirement went down a lil to a 3.4, because some of my friends got
In with that GPA, that live in Torrance. I really don’t want to give up…but at this point I have a BiG feeling it’s not gonna happen,

But ya thank you again for taking the time to write :)

@Fullerton, it’s good to hear that people with lower GPA’s are getting in. A 3.2 by any means is NOT a bad GPA! If things were better, I probably would cruised around that level instead of busting my butt and raising my anxiety. But now that I know I’m in, I’m cruising this semester! If I get my first C, I don’t care. I deserve to kick back a little bit, especially since I’m finishing up my last 17 units all at once, just to get it done.

Don’t give up. They haven’t rejected you, so that’s a good thing. You aren’t out of the running. It all depends on the GPA’s of the other students who applied and whether or not they even finish all their classes. You might get waitlisted, which means you’re in when they find space for you. This happened to a friend of my at CSULB. She was waitlisted for the psych program and then all of a sudden the semester started and they had room for her. She was pretty upset at first and then didn’t know what hit her. And if you don’t get in, take a couple of summer classes, get A’s (take some classes that are transferable and you know you can get A’s in) and it will bump your GPA up a little and reapply for Spring.

I had myself convinced that I wasn’t worthy of getting in to any school. My transcripts are riddled with W’s from when I was younger and was just not ready for school. But, you know what, I did it. I was told so many times that there was just no way I could get into a college with such horrific transcripts, but I did. You never know until you try. It may not happen RIGHT now, but it WILL happen.

Accepted! Around 8pm pst
Major: Business Administration-Management
Transfer
GPA 3.4

Hey all. So I guess my transcripts just came off my portal (I sent them about 3 weeks ago) and I was wondering how long it took all of you to hear after they had taken transcripts off your to do list? I’m so tired of waiting and my current college is dealing with housing already so I wish I would hear soon so I don’t have to put down a deposit for that.
I have a 3.4 GPA, theatre arts major, I had a 1800 on my SAT but they never asked for me to send that so idk why it would matter…
Anywho, any answers would be much appreciated!!! :)
