@Zygole Yeaa but only 3 which was my mistake… I got withdrawn from CPP because they supposedly didn’t receive my transcripts on time but I didn’t really want to go there anyway so I didn’t appeal. SDSU I’m wait listed and they will tell me by next week if U am accepted, CSUF was my only hope but I think I’ll do an online degree through CSU San Marcos at Temecula now…
if I* am accepted @Zygole
I’m going insane waiting so long. I want to call them and tell them they’re process is trash and they’re the slowest csu lol, without saying my name
@CSUADTHopeful awe dude =/ godspeed man! thats rough =/
got denied today and my gpa is 3.1. they said it is low for out-of-local application. sad…
@yanhandu0827 sorry about that what is your major? do you live in california or do they mean fullerton local?
my major is psychology. out-of-local means that most of your units earns from school is not at orange county…
i don’t know if i explain it clear. the whole process is so frustrating. i would never consider fullerton when i apply my graduate school
@yanhandu0827 I’m sorry to hear that! And yea they’re the worst when it comes to admission process, I won’t apply again after this
I wonder how many people are still waiting on a decision or just moved on? I just submitted my SIR to CSULB about a week or so ago.
I had to make this account today just to voice my frustration. I’ve been checking here every day so nervous to hear back. I was denied from UCI and Fullerton is my only other option…I just want to know already!! Last year I was accepted to UC Davis but I wanted to save money and go local. I’m just scared I’m going to regret not going to Davis, but I thought i would have an almost guaranteed chance at Fullerton.
@random24 are you a local applicant? As in did you attend Fullerton College or Cypress (I think a few more as well). I did all of my units at Fullerton College and got waitlisted at CSUF heh
I’ve been lurking this thread for a little while. I searched and found it on behalf of my bf who is also still waiting on an answer from CSUF as an AA-to-transfer from Victor Valley College which is in San Bernardino County.
@Zygole Yes, I’m local
I’m still hangin by a thread… meaning this thread. It is the only thing keeping my hopes up.
@zygote So when CSUF finally gets around to admitting everyone remaining here on this thread will you accept, giving up your invested $$$ at CSULB?
@CSUADTHopeful I’m with you with starting to go for the online programs. Though, you completed your AD-T, correct? And if so, doesn’t that mean admission to a CSU? If CSUF doesn’t accept you, how does the CSU system know where to send you?
@TooOld4College Spending quite some time on CSUF’s campus I actually really enjoyed it! I know their CS program is pretty good too! Though their CoE as a whole isn’t that great (heard through the grapevine that they almost lost their ABET accreditation which for engineering is important) while CSULB’s CoE is more reputable and has a better overall program. More then likely not, I think a change of scenery would be great too considering I’ve been in Fullerton for what seems like forever now.
I’ve also visited CSULB and really digged the vibe.
Also @CSUADTHopeful If I read the ADT specifications correctly I believe you are guaranteed admission to the local Cal State, that being sad I believe @TooOld4College should be guaranteed as well assuming you got your ADT from Fullerton College.
Still waiting for the notification. I am an international student currently in CSUN. Very disappointed for waiting.
@Zygole I’m glad CSULB sounds like it’ll work out for you. As for me, I won’t finish my ADT until end of summer, which apparently doesn’t count when being considered for Fall 2017 admissions… so, we’ll see…
@TooOld4College Yeah definitely! I’m looking forward to attending (that is if I don’t get off the waitlist for pomona), and thats a bummer dude =/ I guess depending how things go (hopefully well!) but if you reapply again you’re guaranteed to Fullerton and given priority consideration at Pomona.
@TooOld4College @Zygole I’m completing my AA-T which is basically the same thing but my local University is CSUN, which yes I would have been automatically accepted since we have a TAG program with them, but I didn’t apply. I don’t want to go to CSUN, personally I would not be proud to say I go to CSUN… and I want to get out of the area…
@CSUADTHopeful May I ask why would you not be proud to go to CSUN?
