Can anyone shed some light on the three of them. Math is not my strong suit however I am an econ major. Would it matter if I took calc 140 instead of 150? Or should I stick it out and take the 150 and/or 155?

There are numerous threads on this topic already. Long story short, 155 is recommended over 150. Not sure about 140 though.

Been wondering about calc 140, too. Is there any reason for a non-math person not to take calc 140, even though she had AP Calc AB in high school. She did ok, but it wasn’t fun.

The hard sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Physics) all require some sort of calculus and in most cases recommend the 155 sequence. Engineering students are required to take the 155-175 sequence as well, and often also differential equations and linear algebra (194/196/198).
