calc placement test

hi guys i have a question

i took calculus BC junior year and prety much haven't touched math at all senior year.... except for simple math in chem, and i want to take calculus III but i'm afraid i won't make it for the placement test... does anyone know how hard the placement test is?

Are you sure there's a math placement test? If there is, it is very new and I apologize. Math placement has always been automatic (based on your AP scores / background / etc.). Also, you can downgrade yourself if you don't feel comfortable with what you're assigned.

oh really? i just assumed we have to take a placement test... so none for calc? how about chem/ physics/ econ

2002's right, there's no placement test for math. There's an informative meeting, however, which helps you decide which intro math class to take.

Only chem and the foreign languages have required placement exams if you want to taker a higher level. Calc only offers an information session, and physics has an exam, but they just tell you which level they recommend you take. Music has an exam that allows you to test out of the requirement (for CC core and possibly for SEAS nontech). Econ requires you have gotten a 9 or 10 on the AP exams (5 on either one, at least 4 on the other) in order to reciever credit and place out of the intro course (no more advanced course would be necessary); but no placement exam offered. I don't think im missing anything.
