calc sophomore year or junior year?

Here are some questions I have (again!), I'm sorry for asking so many questions...

1.) Is there Calculus I or II on the MCAT?

2.) Should I take Calculus I and II Junior year and hype up my GPA during Sophomore year?

3.) Should I take some time to get the help I need next summer for Calculus I and II?

I mean I know it is required to take Calculus for med school but they'll ask me for my junior year transcripts anyway.. they'll have it.

1) No.

2) What does “hype up” mean in this context? Why would the timing of your calc I and II classes make a difference?

3) Er, do you need help for those classes?

I think you need to provide a lot more context for your situation before anyone can give you meaningful advice.

when i say “hype up” i mean increase my gpa over time.

and yes, i suck @ calc. but i rather raise up my gpa sophomore year.

Have you taken Calc yet in college? Did you have any in high school?

I got a 5 on BC, and waited til second semester junior year to take Calc III. The long break in between forces you to review a lot more, so if you’ve had any previous exposure, I’d take it sooner. Although, after a certain amount of time, you probably forget as much as you will…

I took precalc last semester and in high school…
