How do you calculate what you need on the next test in order to get a certain grade in the class?
Assessments are worth 55% in my class.
Google it; there are a lot of sites like this one:

Math.
@indian098, not sure why people can’t just give you a direct answer - you would calculate as follows:
[Number of Tests Including New One] x ([Grade You want] - [Score in Other Percentage of Class] x [0.45])/(0.55) - [Test 1 Score] - Test 2 Score] - [Test 3 Score] - [Test… Score]
That may seem a little confusing at first, but it’s hard to explain without numbers, so I’ll try to make a hypothetical for you.
Let’s say the grade you want in the class is a 90.
Let’s say you’ve had three tests, where you scored a 70, 100, and 80
Let’s say homework is 20% of the class, and you’ve done all of it (100% homework average)
Let’s say class participation is the other 25%, and you’re okay at it (90% class participation average)
By using the formula I laid out for you, you’d get this…
4(90 - 100 x .2 - 90 x .25)/(.55) - 70 - 100 - 80 = 95.46
So, you'd need a 96 on the test.
If you don’t know how to do that with your numbers, just pm me and or tag me in a comment here, and I’ll do it for you.
Weighted average. (similar to what jamesjunkers said)
e.g. suppose tests are worth 30% of your grade, HW is worth 25%, participation is 5%, and a final exam is 40% (just a scenario). Then you can assign weights to tests, HW, participation, final of .3, .25, .05, .4. Suppose your averages in those categories are 81%, 90%, 100%, and 85% respectively. Then your weighted average is
.81.3 + .90.25 + 1.05 + .85.4 = .858 = 85.8%
If you want to know what score you need, then set one of the values unknown and use some algebra.
