How important is it to have FINISHED the calc class before admissions decision?? My son is facing a 4 week summer calc class or taking it in the Fall and not having the final grade before admission decisions are made.
Opinions/advice??
I wouldn’t worry about it too much. UR doesn’t have required courses for transfer, and many students at UR don’t ever take calculus, depending on their major.
What major is your son interested in?
He is majoring in accounting and has to have it to get into Robins. He would be a sophmore second semester If he got in in the Spring. The issue is whether or not currently taking it in the Fall when he applies rather than having it already done would hurt his admission chances.
