As I am sure you are all aware, many colleges make an active attempt to form a varied, diverse student body. With this being said, do applicants from California have an advantage in the admissions process compared to other students of similar ranking?
In general,plenty of students from CA want to come east for college but it would depend on the school in question. For a top tier national college I don’t think being from CA would be any advantage, for a smaller more regional college it could be a bit of a plus.
