Calling all AP Govt. students and self-studiers

BUMP. Anyone taken a Practice Test yet?

Nope.

I’m self-studying AP Gov! I’ve been using Princeton, Crash Course and occasionally 5 Steps Flashcards. It seems fairly simple so far and I used the AP as an excuse to subscribe to the NY Times  Is it just me or is Princeton too short to actually have all the necessary material??

I think it is. Crash course is very short but covers a buttload of material.

BUMP

COME ONE AP GOV’ers

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Helllllllloooooooooooooooooooooo

Anyone else taking AP US Gov?

Not a real popular choice on CC it seem.

Sent from my LG-VM696 using CC

I thought it would as it is a popular AP Test

Gosh

This is worse than Human Geo

I thought it was too.

Two tricks to the FRQ is using context clues of the opening to the question to help you remember what the individual parts are referencing to. If you do not remember exactly what it is, BS with something you’ve learned before in the subject of context that makes sense. Very often, I end up with points even though I don’t remember the exact terms it asks for. (Like world history where you can just ramble on about the time period)

Another trick is when it asks to describe/identify examples you can often reuse the same example (always think of the easiest one to explain) in multiple questions/be redundant/put a slight twist on it to give two examples such as the House can pass the articles of impeachment while the Senate holds the trial giving roles for both the House and Senate in one example.

This thread may be lifeless, but at least the Gov information is really cool! :)

Im self studying gov this year and honestly, it seems like a joke. I have a good background in US History and current events, which comprise most of the material. I’m reading PR several times, but I’m not too worried.

I’ve recruited two other people to take it with me, and self’studying is so rare in my school.

Tangent LINE:

Repped!

in a imaginary way

Do anyone know what the hardest frq may be about?

Bump for incoming AP exam next Tuesday.

Maybe because the title of the forum is spammed with asterisks and does not state “official ap gov forum” that barely anyone is replying to this thread. Anyone watching the review on c span this Saturday?

Lol review of Cspan and I just created the “official” thread.
