<p>Could anyone from either majors comment on Cal's econ and polisci departments? I am particularly interested in comparative politics and development economics so anything from strengths, weaknesses, professors, courses etc. would be really helpful.</p>

<p>The overall rule thus far, if the GSI and/or Prof come from the Goldman School’s of Public Policy teaching any economics course, they don’t really understand economics. It’s been correlated thus far, hopefully not causative. Sad, but true.</p>
