<p>If you plan on living in an apartment, how long in advance should you wait to contact your roommates (a week before move in / a month before move in)? Is it even necessary (I would think that in an apartment that this would be needed to see who was bringing the generic stuff...like pots and pans because you definitely do not need duplicates of that stuff)</p>
<p>Calling sooner certainly can't hurt.</p>
<p>Or if calling is too intense, you can always email.</p>
<p>I would definetl call as far ahead as possible because then evryone knows if theyneed to buy something and not others. I have already bought stuff for my room because I have talked to my roomate and I could take advantage of some good deals.</p>
