Calling upon all members .. Rate these

<p>My mother recently got me a few SAT prep books from the store ... can you people please rate these books and let me know for what and how should i use these books in order to get a competitive SAT score. Also let me know whether or not i should using these books . </p>

3)Mastering the SAT Writing Test (By - Denise pivarnik - Nova)
4)McGraw Hill's SAT 2008 edition
5)Mcgraw Hills edition 2008
5)Mcgraw Hill's Conquering SAT Math (2nd Edition)
6)Mcgraw Hill's SAT 2400
7)Barron's How to prepare for the SAT ( 2008 , 23rd edition) with CD
8)Webster's New World Essential Vocabulary
9)Princeton Review Cracking the SAT
10)Princeton review 11 practice tests</p>

<p>In short: They all suck.</p>

<p>In long: Do a search. This topic of prep books has been discussed almost every day.</p>

<p>Only use CB material.</p>

<p>Just do them all. Even if they're not CB, they're still practice.</p>

<p>Probably should've done a little research before hitting the bookstore. Use the search function.</p>

<p>Wow. That's alot. PR's 11 practice tests aren't very accurate...</p>

<p>But I agree with Arachnotron--still good practice.</p>

<p>If you haven't done the practice tests from the BB, I would do those first and use the other books as extra practice.</p>

<p>Sell them all on ebay. Then buy:
1)Blue Book
2)Rocket Review
3)Direct Hits
4)College Board Online Course</p>

<p>All you need.</p>
