How important are science ec's, grades in science classes, ACT science scores, SAT 2's in science, etc if u r applying to AEM. I love everything about the program except that its in CALS and has a fairly sizable science requirement. Basically is it a big deal if science isnt my greatest subject? Can the fact that math and english are my best subjects and that i have a lot of business ec's and classes make up for it since AEM is a business program, not a science major. I wish AEM wasnt in CALS lol...

Thanks

Btw, please dont try to persuade me not to apply cause ive read a lot about it and im prepared to fulfill the requirements. who knows maybe ill even find that i really like science (i havent had the greatest science teachers).

At my school we dont take economics till senior year (ill be taking AP Micro). I would take Macro but already have too many AP's. I've taken 5 business classes (3 easy elective type classes and 2 that follow curriculum of local university=12 college credits) already tho and have A+'s in all of them.

Im really just worried about the science thing. Is it that important?

AEM, as you probably know, is Cornell's accredited undergraduate business program. So, no, just because it is in CALS, I'm sure the admissions committee will not frown at you for lacking EC's/achievements in science. Besides, CALS evaluates and accepts applicants to specific majors, so you will not necessarily be competing with the other bio, or plant science applicants.
