I remember when the parking it was free. So, I still consider that expensive. But since you can’t park on nearby streets for more than a couple of hours, you don’t have a choice. There are plenty of spots though.

It has been many years, but Caltech had a summer program with the nearby hospital. They also offered some other benefits.

Any idea how many were waitlisted in total this year?
When does Caltech announce if they are accepting anyone off the waitlist? This year with REA, their yield is likely to be much higher?
not sure. The AOs told me early to mid-May
Yield is expected to be higher, but as someone wrote above, they also accepted about 100 less than usual to account for that. The question is how good they were at predicting where yield ends up in an REA process.

Waitlist is closed. Apparently they overenrolled a ton this year, yield was higher than expected
