I plan on majoring in science, but want to also study economics/business as I want to eventually attend business school.

I'm aware CalTech has a Business, Economics and Management option, but Chicago also offers programs for potential business students.

Could people offer pro/con arguments comparing the two?

I would not start with the individual programs, because I think a degree from either would be a big plus towards future plans, but I would instead consider the two schools as a whole.

There are benefits of going to CalTech and there are benefits of going to the U of C. The benefits of going to CalTech (as I see them through one of my good friends), is being in an close-knit house environment where people have the same interests as you do (and build crazy stuff a lot).

At Chicago, the student undergraduate body is much larger and more spread out, as is the dorkitude. You might be really into high-energy physics, your roomate might be taking Akkadian.

Have you been able to visit both or one school?

You don't need to study business as an undergrad. It's a waste of time, youth, and of your talents. Study economics, there is plenty of time to study business at business school, if that is where life takes you.
