Pittsburgh, the show filmed during her junior, not senior, year. She graduated this spring.

And rlaehgund, yes Camille went to Nightingale-Bamford (the school Gossip Girl’s school is based on) and she was not asked back. Not a shocker. No private school wants to see their students acting like that. I know students at my school were approached about a SoCal version of that show and the school made it clear if we participated we would not just be not asked back but expelled.
So Camille went to Professional Children’s School which is where the Broadway kids or SAB kids go. It’s more of a school where performance kids log their school hours and then go back to their careers.

That’s Plattsburgh, not Pittsburgh.
And thanks for clarifying that.

Sorry Plattsburgh, I couldn’t see your username while typing and thought it was Pittsburgh. Sorry!

PittsburghLoser just doesn’t sound right.

^^No prob.
I didn’t know she got kicked out though. I guess that probably means there won’t be a season two unless their okay with risking being booted from their current school, ruining their chances for admittance into certain colleges, and tainting their professional career before even having one.

She got kicked out of her school? yeah, i feel bad for her…

Oh damn! I really liked and respected William & Mary! Now I don’t know anymore…

I hope you were being serious…LoL.

lol…i watched the first two episodes of that show.

Camille seems like a real *****. I’m not surprised she didn’t get in…considering that she was talking about starting community service her junior year and the display of her character was poor.

I’ve never heard of NYC Prep…

Yeah, the show wasn’t perceived well among the NYC schools so it’s not a surprise it’s not back for a second season. And at this point only two of the original cast members are still in high school. They will be seniors this fall.

Camille was the only one who wasn’t asked back but had P.C. and Jessie not already graduated I’m sure they would be gone. And Taylor was kicked out of Stuyvesant (Because of her grades) which is unfortunate because it’s such a good school.

I thought it was weird Camille started community service her junior year and all she talked about was “It’s really important for me to do community service because I want to get into Harvard”. Um, I think you’re missing the point of community service, Camille.

Lol I had forgotten about that show. It kind of makes me sad that I have known many classy people go to W&M, but it is a nice area. Winters won’t be as frigid as in Cambridge!

I wish it was back for a second season, I loved it. It was my guilty pleasure show. Plus, how dumb could Camille be? Did she think that doing that show would NOT hurt her chances of getting into Harvard?

Phoenixpop, that’s what I kept thinking. Camille seemed like the brightest one, although rather pretentious, on the show and I just don’t understand what she was thinking. She had to know her school would be ****ed and Harvard wouldn’t accept her. The show producer approached the schools about handing out fliers and they refused and several of them even told their students if they sign on to do the show they will be expelled. What was Camille thinking?
