For example, the National AP Scholar. It requires a minimum score of 4 on all tests taken. (Does this include ones that you retook?)
If you earn this award in junior year, and get a 3 on an AP exam in senior year, will it be taken away?
Wait nevermind. It’s an average. But anyway, if your average drops, can it be taken away?
To my knowledge, they are merely certificates that they mail out to you, so they shouldn’t invalidate those.
Good question and you should definitely ask College Board to clarify it. However, on a positive note, this award is most meaningful during college application time, which in any case is over before you get your scores for senior year.
Thereafter, it is a matter of whether you can get college credit or not.
