I was previously interested in getting a Business Administration or Management degree, but my only qualm was over pushing products I don't care about and being unsatisfied. Then I found the Arts Administration major and thought it would be cool to do marketing and event planning for theatres or museums rather than for-profit businesses.

However, there probably aren't as many job openings in Arts Administration as there are in the general business world, so I was wondering... if an arts administration career doesn't work out, could I fall back on the degree and enter the business world with it? It's my understanding that Arts Administration takes many elements of it and just applies it to the art world.

Thank you for your help.
