Can Good Scores on Two Sections Offset a Lower Score?

So I'm thinking I'm gonna get low-mid 700 for Critical Reading this month and I already had a 720 in writing; the problem comes with my math. I got a 660 on math in January and I don't think I scored much higher (or even higher at all) this month in June. I don't know why, there's just something in my brain preventing me from doing extremely well on the math section haha.

Anyway, do you think the 700s in CR & W can somewhat offset say, a 660 in math?

That’s still a good score… however, I think that if you fudged up on the essay you’re pretty much screwed regardless/

thanks buriedalie. But I really don’t think a 660 even cuts it for like the top schools.

I got a 10 on the essay last time… my essay really wasn’t good this year considering I spent like 20 minutes on the first two paragraphs and then like 5 minutes on the last two (the last two paragraphs were pretty atrocious, needless to say)
