Can I apply to two restrictive early action schools?

To my knowledge, both Notre Dame and Georgetown have restrictive early action admission. Does that only exclude early decision schools or are other restrictive schools not allowed as well? I tried to email a Georgetown rep and they told me that not only is Georgetown not restrictive early action, I can't apply to it in addition to a school that is which went against what I've found online. She may be right, but I'm just looking for clarification.

It appears that Georgetown has non-binding Early Action, not restrictive… Notre Dame does have restrictive early action. Therefore, you can apply to both early action. You cannot then apply to any binding early decision programs.

Notre Dame’s “restrictive” EA is not what’s normally considered REA. From their website:

“A student applying Early Action to Notre Dame may apply to other Early Action programs. A student applying Early Action may not apply to any college or university in their binding Early Decision process.”

GTown says this:
“…students applying under the Early Action program may not apply to any binding Early Decision programs since they then would not be free to choose Georgetown if admitted. Students are welcome to apply to other Early Action programs or other Regular Decision programs while at the same time applying to Georgetown’s Early Action program.”

Thus you’re allowed by both schools to apply to both EA programs. ALWAYS go to the college’s own webpages for consult – rather than here. They are your authority, not random strangers.
