Can I cancel my application if the college won’t give me a fee waiver?

On common app it says I qualified for the fee waiver thing, so it let me send out all my applications for free (for now at least).

I contacted common app and they said that the colleges may decide not to offer you a waiver and then request money.

I don’t have the money to pay the fees for all the colleges I applied to. So if a college decides to not grant the waiver, is there a way to cancel the application and not pay?

Just tell the college that if it happens.

I am sure you can rescind your application, but you should absolutely take it up with an AO before doing so.

How will they bill you for an application fee? I expect that they simply won’t read your application if the fee hasn’t been waived and hasn’t been paid.

It is perfectly OK for you to ask for a fee waiver from the college itself if the general waiver doesn’t work.
