Can I cancel one of my SAT subject tests?

I am taking the US History and Mathematics level 2 and I want to cancel my US history test. I am not prepared for this at all because ive been watching netflix to the ungodly hours of the night so some advice would be greatttt. From what i hear, i can just choose not to take it on the day of the test but is that true? And if i dont take it will i be charged?

You could take the test and cancel your score right after you take it if you don’t think you did well. I’d look on the college board’s pages for subject tests to know your other options.

I think you can cancel. My son did that combo last year…he thought he was prepared for USH Subject Test because he had studied for the APUSH test the month prior. He did not get a great score and wished he had canceled it.

I’ve heard you can change which Subject Tests you take and don’t take…check College Board site for specififc rules.

Correct - this is true.

You’ve already been charged. Ask the CB about the refund policy, but if there is one, it will be minuscule as they will assess a processing charge.

No you can’t. You can cancel all scores on a specific date after the fact, but you cannot pick and choose. From the CB:

@skieurope another question: I want to change one of my tests. Can I also choose to take a different test on the day of?

Yes. The only exception is that you cannot switch to a Foreign Language with Listening Exam. You get one booklet with all the tests offered that day, and you just bubble in the subject code.
