I don’t know if the calif publics give full rides based on stats. I know that a few kids with super high sat scores get regents but those aren’t free rides. What are your test scores. Too many kids have high gpa’s to give free rides based on that.

You would have to check with the schools in question. As Mom2 said, test scores are important. The State U my daughter attends (not CA) gives full ride scholarships for NM finalists and 2 very good scholarships (full tuition waiver plus a cash award, not full ride but very nice - my daughter has one of these) for very high ACT scores combined with good GPAs. They have none for just high GPAs.

I’m not sure how much State Us take into account ECs for their big scholarships. Probably varies. My daughter had a ton of community service - got the presidential gold volunteerism award a couple of years - and was a state level swimmer and in band. Her scholarship did not take into account ECs at all and she did not get the one which did (which was ok as the one she got was better, but we though she might get it).

Test scores are very important, and scholarships are school-specific.

:) Good luck!

Scholarships are by the school so it depends if the university wants to offer you one. Looking at your stats for some schools you could be a good candidate for a few scholarships.

Once you have test scores, then come back. Your test scores will determine whether some schools will give you merit scholarships.

Look at the various Calif publics’ websites. Look at their scholarships pages. I doubt any of them give full rides. Calif schools are more dedicated towards “need” - not merit.
