Can I get into Cornell.

Hi guys, so I am a junior in highschool and I was wondering what are my chances of getting into Cornell for early admission. I really want to be apart of the FAIR( financing, accounting, investment, and real estate) program. Here are my stats

Race: white
Gender: male

33 on act
218 on sat
Aps: ap human geo:4, ap euro: 4, ap world: 5, ap environment:4, ap comp gov:5, ap U.S. history:4, and I’m planning on taking 4 or 5 next year.
I have been in all honors and ap sophomore and junior year, except for freshman year, when I took two non honors.

I have 500 volunteer hours that I received from my local park.

My clubs are, model un, pre law society, njhs, nhs, key club, future business leaders of America, and I started my own club called 1 step at a time which deals with habitat for humanity and I have 35 or more members and growing.

I am apart of the pre law program at my school and was a leu tenant sophomore year and I am vp this year. Hopefully I will, be president.

My gpa unweighted is 4.0 and weighted at my school is 5.8.

6 of my family members have attended Cornell or are currently attending. My uncle is really pushing me to go and he is on the board of the school and will right me a letter. Does that make a difference ?!?
Please comment below, I am also looking at Vanderbilt, u Chicago, Columbia, and NYu.

Yes that will definitely make a huge difference. Plus the other 5 legacies only add to it!

Cornell - low reach
Uchcago and columbia - reach
NYU- low reach

I don’t know much about vanderbilt unfortunately. Chance back?: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1786803-chance-me-for-upenn-m-t-ut-and-others-chance-back.html#latest

If Cornell is your first choice, you need to apply ED to take advantage of your legacy status.

NYU: Solid chances
Cornell ED: Okay chances
Cornell RD: Low reach
Vanderbilt: Reach (Low scores)
Columbia Chicago: Reach ED/EA or RD

NYU: Match
Cornell: Legacy, So I’ll go for Match
Vanderbilt: ?
Columbia/Chicago: Reaches
your scores are a bit on the lower side (AP scores especially), and Columbia, Chicago are reaches for everyone

Not sure what the FAIR program is – could you be talking about the FARE (finance, accounting, and real estate) concentration within the hotel school?

The hotel school focuses a lot on fit, so if that is in fact where you are applying, it would be good to have some sort of hospitality experience.

What do you mean by low reach?

And Cornell is my first choice and I will be applying Ed. Sorry, I meant fare, I think it was autocorrect that changed it.

20more, why do I have a reach, what are my low scores.

Then I’d say you have a fairly good shot making it in, with your 6 legacies.

My bad guys, I got a 5 on environment and U.S. History.

And an you guys let me know how important ap human is, most top twenty schools don’t even accept it.
