Can I get into George Mason University?

I'm a high school junior and I have a 3.5 GPA and a 1480 SAT (500 CR, 440 M, 540 W; taken twice). I participate in a very wide selection of extracurriculars such as:

Varsity Girls Tennis (All four years)
FCCLA
FEA
Beta Club
Key Club
Environmental Club
Teachers for Tomorrow
Green Team
Teacher Intern at local elementary school
Active member of Asian Association
Member of Bengali Association
Cultural Dancer
Charity Work in Dhaka, Bangladesh
Brand Rep at Justice
Sandwich Artist at Subway
Misc. Volunteer Work

Also, I'm a First Generation College Student, a minority, and an in state student. I plan on applying as an Early Childhood Education major. What are my chances at Mason?

Thank you all so much for your help

You definitely have a chance, but I would strongly urge you to retake the SAT.

Best of luck! :)

If you meet certain conditions, you can apply test optional
[GMU Admissions: Score Optional Consideration](http://admissions.gmu.edu/freshmen/scoreOptional.asp)

But I assume the OP meets the test-optional conditions…

I think you definitely have a shot but i do recommend taking the SAT’s once more but even with that score you still have a chance

Thank you everyone for your advice! I really appreciate it! I’m currently taking an SAT class (thousand bucks, it better help haha) and I’m sure I’ll do better on the SAT come October. Y’all have a great day! :)
