I want to go to LSE for international relations or politics. I have taken five APs; World History (5), Lang (5), US Gov (5), APES (5), and Lit (4). I am predicted to get a 1500 on the SAT and I will take AP Stats, AP macroeconomics, AP Spanish senior year. IDK what other AP’s I should take. I am taking college courses in English and law, I don’t know if that affects anything.
LSE wants 5 scores of 5, so if you get an offer it will be conditional on at least 1 (& possibly 2 or 3- it’s their call) of your senior year AP scores. Your coursework is light for IR- world hx is a survey course & you have no other hx. If you can take Comp Gov do- it is more useful for IR than US Gov, and is actually useful for the IR course. They won’t care at all about your college courses in English & Law. LSE only takes about 250 US students a year, and I have seen them give tougher conditions (to the same student) than Oxbridge.
Your thread title answers itself.
Brutal.
