I want to be a MD and feel like I have NO chance to get into Med School. I will attend Georgia Perimeter College in the Fall. Freshman. I have a GED vs. High School Diploma....
I work in the ER at a main hospital in GA. I heard that because I am hispanic and a female (minority) I have greater chance to get into med school because they need to have a "certain" number of minorities to get fundings each year. Is that true?
Also what is the average GPA for med school applicants that are accepted and what is the average MCAT score? And if the minority rumor is true what are the GPA's and MCAT scores for minorities that are accepted?

Avg. for non miniorities is 3.6 gpa and 30 MCAT. For a "minority" I would say with a 3.3 gpa and 28 MCAT you would be in a good position at a normal med school, not Harvard or the likes.

If you go to the AAMC website you will find data avg. GPA/MCAT scores for applicants and matriculants of hispanics (even broken down by individual nationalities).

I am really scared of calculus.... what if I got a B? or C? I heard that in math and science you must make A's

Its good to get A's. If you don't its not life or death. One B won't hurt you all too much. Calc really isnt bad.
