Can I get into NEOMED's BS/MD program?

Hi I’m currently a junior in high school in California and next year I want to apply to NEOMED’s BS/MD program in Ohio, which accepts a really low amount of people outside Ohio. Here’s some information about me:

SAT
Math: 750
Writing: 730
CR: 630

GPA
Weighted: 4.26
Non-Weighted: 3.87

I got a 4 on the US History AP exam and I’m going to take the Biology AP Exam and the Bio, Math, and Spanish SAT II exam this May.

I volunteered at a hospital for a year, shadowed a doctor for a summer, volunteered for the City at a day care, worked at a Soup Kitchen, and I started my own club called International Society for Children with Cancer on campus. I’m also getting a job working at a park this summer.

I know the competition for out of state is ridiculously hard! Have you taken the ACT? If not I’d definitely aim for at least a 34… Also if you have the opportunity, try to do an internship or labWork/research somewhere. I live about 40 min from neomed so I was fortunate enough to actually get a spot at doing some labwork at neomed’s campus itself! Anyways, I think applying is still worth a shot, cuz I know one person out of state that got in. So I know it’s not impossible! Good luck!
