Wow this is a lot of information. Thank you for reading all of it if you have. Is NYU a bit of a stretch? I applied to lower ranked schools but I really am hoping to get into NYU. Chance me please!

Test scores are low, grades and other look good. It is a reach but definitely not to the stage of pointless to apply. Note, NYU wants testing done by December test dates. Jan test will be considered only if it arrives on time to be considered, meaning before a decision has been made on you. You have a chance of it being considered if you designate NYU as one of your free sends, meaning sending the score before you know what it is. That is the fastest form of delivery.

yes you’re right. I just called the school this morning and they said the January test date would most likely be too late. I think i’ll go with your plan and hope my test scores will improve. Thanks!

Unless you’re an URM, you’re more likely to win the lottery

ouch okay. That was uncalled for.
