Help! I think I might end up getting a C and B’s in the rest of my classes. Would this warrant getting rescinded?
Can you? Yes. Penn can do whatever it wants. Will you? Unlikely. Penn admitted you because they want you, so congrats. Conventional wisdom is don’t gets D’s, don’t get arrested, and don’t be found to have misrepresented yourself in your application. Having said that, if you do end up with all B’s and C’s, that’s a big case of senioritis, so a letter requesting an explanation for the grade drop would not be out of the question. Best to avoid any raised eyebrows wherever possible.
I had all A’s in my classes last semester, so I just mean B’s and a C this semester. My final class grade might be higher ( combining both semesters). Will they take into account my final course grade or just this semester’s?
I would have said that from the beginning.
I believe just the final grade, certainly moot if the HS only reports final grades.
My bad for explaining it poorly. Thanks for clearing it up. I’ll try my hardest not to get that C!
