Can I get the free retake in October and keep my June scores?

I know this might be a simple question, and kinda late as well. But the title kinda explains it.

College board is offering a free retake in October if you felt negatively affected. But if I sign up for this is my June score still valid? Like do they take that away or can I still use that score?

No you keep both scores, I emailed them about that.

Can someone explain how to take advantage of this? I took the SAT in june and want to take a free SAT in October.

To Yomo710, you have to call the support number and explain that you were negatively affected and want to sign up for the October SAT. The number is 1-866-756-7346. Make sure you call by September 3rd.

Actually you don’t even have to claim you were negatively affected. I just called and said that I heard you were giving a free retest to anyone who took the test in June. They said sure and did the registration over the phone. The June scores are still there on the website and could be sent if desired.

Does it have to be in October or can I get it transferred to November?

Pretty sure you can, the man I spoke with asked me when I wanted to take the test.
