Can I go into the bioengineering world with a degree in Biology

Hello. I am currently a sophomore Biology major. I have recently developed an interest in the engineering world. But specifically biomedical/bioengineering. Now, I know that students who go into engineering either have a degree in engineering (go figure), physics, or some other related world. But, I’m so far along in my program that I do not feel that switching would improve my chances since I most likely would not graduate on time. So, what would be the best solution for me if I wish to still pursue the engineering world?

Well, even a BME undergrad degree doesn’t always get you into this field (usually advised to go for a Master’s). So, follow up question to more knowledgeable users: how viable is the bio undergrad to BME grad path, and would that be a good option for OP?
