hi, i got 1200 in my first SAT i took last month can i raise to like 1800 and above in 4 months if yes any guide ??
please i need your help

Get the official SAT college board book, take a few days to read all the chapters doing a few practice exercises. Then once you have done all of that dive straight into the practice tests, seriously the more you do the better, at the beginning don’t even focus on timing or how much you can do in one sitting, just take questions slowly - figure out what they are asking for and if you get a question wrong go to the collegeboard website it gives you explanations to all the answers on the practice tests. After this start timing yourself, once you get the hang of completing all the questions in the given amount of time you will have no problem in the exam.

Hope this helps!

I raised my SAT score about 200 points from my sophomore year PSAT to my final SAT, and I found that the keys were:
- Taking LOTS of practice tests. I took about 15 practice tests, no exaggeration, and it really helped each time, both with getting a feel for the test and the time limits. By the end, I probably could have taken a test without a watch and still finished each section in the correct amount of time. I recommend one every other week. If you can take them in a library, that’s ideal (that way you aren’t totally comfortable with the environment, and there’s a little bit of background noise, but it’s still reasonably quiet)
- After grading my tests, I would photo copy the pages with the questions I got wrong and then cut them out and make flash cards. On the front, the photo-copied question taped/glued to the front. On the back, the correct answer and an explanation IN MY OWN WORDS (even if that included pictures, jokes, slang or whatever). This is crucial, because if you can explain it to yourself, that’s how you know you really understand it.
- Study the cards whenever you have a few spare moments. Watching TV? Mute it during the commercials and run over 3 or 4 cards. Having a parent drive you somewhere? Bring a few flashcards with you and look them over in the car. I used to study all the time on the way to and from school (although this probably won’t apply to you)

Also, try the ACT. I would especially recommend this for you, as some students do much better on one test than the other, and a 600 point increase is a lot to ask for, even with 4 months of studying.
