Can I just not pay application fee on one website but pay it in another?

I didnt apply twice technically because when I applied at applysuny i did not pay the application fee…Instead I want to go to the college’s website itself later this year and apply (and pay ofc).

I just don’t want to use applysuny (found out the semester they were offering on their website (fall 2022) was not even on the actual college website itself yet so its just bs and my application would be a sad waste) also they were charging an extra 50$ when there is no application fee on the actual website.

The college website is going to offer the Common App or the ApplySUNY App. ApplySUNY is the official NYS
system wide application site that’s kind of like the common app for SUNY schools and $50 sounds about right for the application fee, but if you’d prefer to use the Common App you can do that.
